Project Description
The Network 21 Project will install a new campus network which will
provide a high capacity communications infrastructure to 200 buildings.
This project will create a data network with approximately 10,000 active
ports.
The Network 21 Project will be implemented in several stages:

Renovation or construction of wire closets to accommodate modern electronic
devices.

Installation of fiber optic cable between buildings and to wire closets
within buildings.

Installation, where necessary, of new wire from the wire closet to
the wall jack.

Installation and testing of electronics hardware and devices in the
communications closets.
-
Cutover from the legacy systems to the upgraded network.
