IP Address Range Information

Description of Address Ranges in Use
Some departments are required to change their IP addresses for Network
21 cutover. For departments that have servers configured to accept
queries from UC Davis IP addresses, the following ranges are in use:
128.120.0.0 Class B Address Range
Existing UCDNet address range, planned to remain in use for the
foreseeable future.
169.237.0.0 Class B address Range
New UCDNet address ranges on Network 21 infrastructure.
152.79.0.0 Class B Address Range
Existing UCDMC address range to remain in use.
198.31.112.0 through 198.31.127.0 Class C Address Range
Used for serial routers. Addresses will go away in 2 months to be
returned to BARRNET and replaced by another address range to be
announced.
205.227.0.0 through 205.227.31.0 Class C Address Range
Used for serial routers. Addresses will go away in 2 months to be
returned to BARRNET and replaced by another address range to be
announced.
208.1.128.0 through 208.1.160.0 Class C Address Range
Used for serial routers. Addresses will go away in 2 months to be
returned to BARRNET and replaced by another address range to be
announced.
A11 Access
For departments that have recently changed IP addresses and are now
unable to access the A11, send e-mail to krfugazi@ucdavis.edu.
Include your Department Nane, old IP address, and new IP address information.
The system administrator will update the A11 IP Address table with your
new address so that you can access the system.
