This document lists a few of the vendors for Network Interface Cards (NICs) and "dumb" hubs that have performed adequately on UCDNet and are expected to work well with the new Network 21 infrastructure. Product compatibility for Network 21 should be based on the IEEE 802.3 ethernet standard. Equipment that is IEEE 802.3 compliant can be expected to be compatible with Network 21 electronics.
This list was compiled based on vendors and equipment that have worked well in the past. The list is by no means exhaustive.
